More than a job, it's a life choice. One of encounters, discoveries and connections woven through her travels in the remotest regions of Madagascar, her home. Meet Farah, a cook like no other...

Born just thirty years ago in Hell Ville, in the south of the island of Nosy Be in Madagascar, Farah Rabekijana fell into the cauldron of the family kitchen at a very young age. While both her mother and father are in the hospitality industry, it was her father who first introduced her to the delights of the kitchen. She recalls, "I used to help him cook at home and they both pushed me in that direction.

And she has come a long way... Since 2021, the chef has become an influencer and has embarked on her culinary road trip. On her motorbike, she travels the roads of Madagascar in search of regional cuisines, authentic farms and the most experienced fishermen to inspire and be inspired by her most gourmet dishes. Close to the earth and nature in general, she doesn't scrimp on the miles to discover organic roots and meats. She doesn't hesitate to get her hands dirty, because freshness, authenticity, that's what she wants in her cooking, in her life in general.

But what does she love most? "Meeting people and making them happy through food and culinary discoveries". As she travels in search of inspirational gems, she forges links, supports entrepreneurs...

It's hard for this entrepreneur and businesswoman to settle down: "I love discovery, different cuisines. I can't stay in one place for long. I feel like I'm always looking for a place that feels right".

Her last trip in 2023, in November

And she won't be settling down any time soon, as she's currently preparing her next road trip, which starts in a month's time. From the 2nd to the 6th of November, she plans to go from Tana - Antsirabe - Faratsiho - Soavinandriana - Anpefy and return to Tana. A beautiful motorcycle trip in perspective!

Although she has become an ambassador for her country, she hasn't forgotten her first passion... A fulfilled mother of a little girl, she shares her adventures as much as possible. "She shares, but she hasn't experienced it yet, she's still at school, but she wants to come with me every time I leave," the chef tells us. Does she already have a designated successor? Let's not jump to conclusions: "She likes what I do without me influencing her in any way. If she wants to do what I do when she grows up, I'll support her... just as much as if she wanted to do something else!
